My job as Politcal Consultant

 

My job is as an "eclectic mixture of communication, public policy, politics, and education." I implement education and public information campaigns for no-profit groups and assists in crisis communication for private companies, "but only related to broad public questions "People don't know what to say. We help them clarify their message.
Yet, political campaigning was not born yesterday, despite many pundits insistence that they helped it evolve in their own shops. In fact, the first recorded political consultant was Quintus Cicero, author of the Handbook of Electioneering. Written to help his brother win a campaign for the consulship of Rome in 63 B.C., it was a first. Since then perhaps millions have offered advice to candidates for public office. Machiavelli's suggestions to his prince being among the most quoted.

My Ethics
Donkey, elephant, or whatever else, I am happy to work with just about anyone. I don't turn down clients on a partisan basis as many of the big firms do; however, if I feel uncomfortable with a candidate's stance on an issue, I may decline to work with him or her on that issue.

Usually if I can talk to these folks for a half-hour, I can get the gist of what they're trying to do and help them find the right way to say it." Simply put, the candidates will have to know the community and issues themselves. My job is to help the candidates hone their messages and communicate them effectively to the voters.
Nowadays in the context of the political strategy, to forehead of the process of no-ideological wave, the communication is quickly evolves from propaganda exercise and today sight to satisfy the always greater demand for problem solving from part of the citizens.
A good politician is more and more different from a man who daily uses techniques of marketing. His/her political action is a concrete form. A good politician knows the electorate he/her comprises the requirements and the requests, without no more to limit to represent it or worse to communicate only in the electoral expiration time.
